Today’s topic is find supplements to help you reach your weight loss goal. This is one of my favorites. I went through the list and gathered my five top favorite supplements that make the process easier. Take a lot of the guesswork out and give you the right kind of results that you’re looking for. I’ve been asked by clients.
Customers are supplements. Absolutely necessary? And the honest answer to that is no. They are not absolutely necessary, but they are something that I do recommend to my clients and customers because I personally believe in them. I’ve seen them work and I just love when my customers and clients are more motivated because they see better results on a weekly basis because we are doing it the right way with certain things that we’re incorporating and adding in.
The first supplement is called detox and this supplement is going to help us with something called visceral fat. For those of you out there who have not heard of visceral fat, this is the dangerous fat, fat that’s covering our organs, specifically liver and heart. We don’t want this fat accumulating because that does raise our risk for health conditions, health issues that we don’t want to have to deal with.
So at nutrition, we focus on a number that tells us are visceral fat. That in body machine that I was telling you guys without earlier lets us know our body composition. But it also tells us about something called that visceral fat. This can range from 0 to 20. A number that we don’t want to be close to that number 20 because that’s when you’re at a high level rates and high risk factor. Like a fat supplement for this is detoxing toxin. The reason I like it is it targets fat visceral fat and it helps us remove that bad fat. Not only that, it helps us boost our metabolism. It helps flatten the belly and the midsection.
Number two, these I think you’ve heard of, they’re called amino acids. Amino acids are what? It helps make up our muscle mass. They make up the aminos in our muscles. So we want to make sure that we’re keeping those replenished throughout different times of the day. The first one that I’ll tell you about is called Branched Chain Amino acids, bases. These things make up a third of the muscle that’s going to help us maintain and protect muscle as we’re working out.
If you’ve been going to the gym, you’ve been trying a new meal plan, but you notice that muscle loss is occurring. This can actually be one of those reasons. It’s because you’re targeting muscle and fat while you’re working out. And what we want to do is we want to protect the muscle so we utilize more fat as energy. That’s what branched chain amino acids do. You may have seen people drink these when they’re at the gym. Their sugar cups look super colorful. They smell good. Those are branched and amino acids, protecting and shielding the muscle as we’re working out. The other partner to these branched amino acids are essential amino acids. Now essential amino acids. I recommend to my clients to sip on throughout the day for two reasons.
One, we’re drinking them throughout the day. We’re keeping our muscle anabolic for healthy, so the body’s not burning that muscle. But then we’re also hydrating the body. We’re trying to focus on a weight loss goals, so we’re going to want to increase a little more water with that. And that’s what amino acids do. They help our water taste yummy and they help us drink a little more as we’re going about that day so that we can target that goal of water consumption.
My third favorite supplement for weight loss is going to help us when we’re getting meals or not getting enough protein in our diet. When it comes to weight loss, we need to make sure that we’re eating a certain amount of protein. If not, the body will tackle. Muscle is energy and that will increase our body fat percentage. So one of my favorites is called Protein Synthesis. It’s a seven blend protein, low fat, low sugar, low carbs, just really high protein that taste amazing. I love the fact that it tastes good, but it’s also healthy when it comes to the nutrition facts. It’s not loaded with junk that we don’t need. It’s just good, clean protein. I like to compare it to a grilled chicken breast.
If you’re going about your day, you’re busy at work, you’re on the computer and you got to pull away for fried chicken with that mule. And instead of taking that time to eat that grilled chicken breast or you don’t have time to eat that grilled chicken breast, we can throw in a scoop of that protein synthesis into your shaker cup, add water, shake it up, and now you’re not putting your body through starvation mode. And again, we don’t want to put that body in starvation because that’s what’s going to cause muscle breakdown, muscle loss. So when you go in for that weekly or biweekly weigh in, instead of losing body fat, you will stand muscle because we don’t consume enough routine. So that’s why this supplement right here is a no brainer for me.
Instead of skipping that meals in the wrong kind of result, we can just incorporate that quick, yummy protein shake and still be on our goal when it comes to weight loss. One thing that I see is high stress. High stress throughout the day because our our family life at social studies work out stress your stress within the body from working out. I mean, it’s a good stress, but it’s still stress nonetheless or just, you know, mental stress that’s happening. So when we are stressed, we produce a hormone called cortisol. When this happens, two things can occur. We can increase body fat in the midsection and we tend to lose muscle. So that’s something we don’t want to incur because again, it’s going to go against your weight loss goal. You’re going to be depleted.
One supplement that I love to recommend in this scenario, it’s called Restore. Restore has an ingredient called ashwagandha. This is what’s going to help us reduce that hormone so that we’re not seeing the wrong kind of results. And instead we see a good, steady piece of fat reduction and maintain muscle mass as we go along.
Our goal, the fifth and final goal, is going to be something that’s going to help us repair our body. Whether we’re working out or resting our body, like I said before, is made up of amino acids. Your body is actually made up of 66% l glutamine that makes up 66% of the aminos in your body. So a few things can happen as we age, as we go about our de-stress workouts. We burn through that amino acid and we want to replenish it. When we replenish that, we actually use the muscle toned healthy and we don’t break it down. And remember, if we’re not breaking down muscle, we’re more prone to burn more body fat. Instead, a few other things that I love about glutamine or the supplement that I’m recommending, which is called Glue to Core, is that it also helps with repairing the stomach lining. It helps that help boost our immune system just now show me health benefits in addition to helping to see the right kind of weight loss, fat loss versus muscle loss. So one thing that I recommend doing is incorporating glutamine every day. Whether you’re working out or not, you can take it in the morning, you can take it post-workout or take it at bedtime to help your body repair and recover at a higher level while you’re sleeping.
And again, glutamine is one of my favorite supplements because it helps tackle so many things, but especially our system and quality of weight loss. I do love implementing it in my regular regimen and recommending it to my clients and customers.
